Daughter of Henry & Theda Branchcomb Daugherty

Sharon Braack, 65, was born July 2, 1947, in Des Moines, the daughter of Henry and Theda (Branchcomb) Daugherty.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Monday, October 22, 2012, at her home.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Terry Braack; children, Steven (Sheryl) Lawrence, Jr., Terry Lynn Braack, Barry Braack, Lisa Braack, and Shirley (Tim) Bullard; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Tom Daugherty, Pam Raitt, Albert (Jackie) Daugherty and George Daugherty; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ben Butters and her parents.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with inurnment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
