OCEANSIDE - Marvollee Jordan Colton, 81, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Torrey Pines Convalescent Hospital in LaJolla.
Born July 9, 1919. in Gorman, Texas, she lived in North County for 51 years.
She retired after 29 years of working for Safeway Stores Inc. as a meat wrapper. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, and the Padres.
Mrs. Colton is survied by her husband of 57 years, Clark Colton of LaJolla; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Kathie Colton of Encinitas; daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Boni Anderson of Soulsbyville; grandchildren Kristine Bodine, Ryan Mitchell, Jeff Colton, Courtney Dow, Jaime Smith and Lindsey Surendranath, and six great-grand children.
A funeral service is schedule for 11am Thursday, May 24, at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel. Eternal Hills Mortuary is handling arrangements.
