Alice Hazel Converse, 92, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, August 3,2012, with family by her side.
She was born July, 11,1920 to Lillie (Shull) and Richard Flynn of Kentucky. She married Harold A. Converse in 1938. He predeceased her in 1985. Alice was also predeceased by daughter Margaret Hernandez and two sons, Harold Edward Converse and Harold Raymond Converse.
Alice was a homemaker and mother of 13 children. She was an outstanding woman, but most of all she loved helping others.
She is survived by Tammy(Ruben)Cardenas, Lillian(Doug) Norr, Penny(Jesus)Flores, Cheryl Ciseneros, Frances Lopez, Lila Converse, Mitchell Converse, Steven Converse, and Richard(Val)Converse. Alice was also the proud grandmother of many grandchildren, as well as great grandchildren.
A celebration honoring Alice's life will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 1125 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI at RosmanUehlingKinzer. Graveside services will follow at Plymouth Cemetery on County H Road, Orfordville, WI. Following services, a dinner will be held at The Club at 1975 Porter Avenue in Beloit, WI.
