C. E. Craver Rites Sunday
CENTERVILLE - Claude Earnest Craver of Exline, Ia., passed away January 1, 1970, at 6:05 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital at the age of 61 years, 1 month, 5 days.
He was born in Centerville, Ia., November 26, 1908, the son of Earnest V. and Clara Messer Craver. He was married to Lucille Beer November 8, 1935, in Centerville, and she survives his passing.
Survivors include three children, C. Edward Craver, Centerville, Mrs. Carol Rio of Western Springs, Ill., and Beverly Craver at home; three grandchildren; three sisters, and two brothers, Mrs. Freda Miller of Fulton, Mo., Mrs. Irene Anderson, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Wilma Love, Waterloo, Clyde Craver of Centerville, and Orval Craver of Exline.
His parents and a brother, Noah Craver, preceded him in death.
Mr. Craver was an employee of McGraw-Edison Co., and a member of the Exline Christian Church for a number of years. He served as church treasurer and member of the official board.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Exline Christian Church with Rev. Clifford Hart officiating, and burial will be in the Exline cemetery.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and any memorials be to the Cancer Fund. Friends may call at the Johnson Funeral Home until noon Sunday.
