He was the son of Bettie Saunders White and the late Lester White.. Mr. Oscar White was the husband of Colleen Addams White. They had four children; Debbie White (Van) Owens, Mary Ellen White(Terry) Hande, Charles White,and John White, and a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren. Oscar grew up in Pikeville Kentucky. He was raised by his grandmother. Oscar was a soldier for the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a religious man and a member of the Riverview Church of God. He would often pray for loved ones. He made excellent homemade fudge.
