Lettie Clement Honored on 88th Birthday

On December 17, an open house was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in honor of the 88th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Lettie Olsen Clement, a former Mt. Pleasant resident.

Mrs. Clement was born in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Swen and Mary Olsen. She has a younger sister, Mrs. Winnie Moss, who resides in Mt. Pleasant.

That evening five of her six living children attended a dinner at her home, the one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Roos of Midvale, Utah, was the one daughter not able to be present for the occasion.

Mrs. Clement, who has lived in the Las Vegas area for several years, has six living children, seventeen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.

Lettine O. Clement

Las Vegas - Lettine Seveline Kjestine Olsen Clement, 91, Las Vegas, died in a Las Vegas hospital May 13, 1974.

She was born December 17, 1882, at Moroni, Utah to Sven and Maren Westergard Olsen.

She married Orin Francis Clement on September 4, 1902, in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 11, 1954.

Survivors are sons, daughters, Frances C. Day, Clara C. Parks, both of Las Vegas; Wanda C. Roos, Midvale, Utah; Clarence A., Merrill, LyDell, of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; sister Winnifred Moss, Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Burial was at the Fairview, Sanpete County, Cemetery.

Graveside rites at Fairview for Mrs. Clement

Graveside rites were held at the Fairview City Cemetery for Lettine Seveline Kjestine Olsen Clement, 91, of Las Vegas, Nevada, who died in a Las Vegas Hospital May 13th.

Survivors include sons, daughters, Frances C. Day, Clara C. Parks, both Las Vegas; Wanda C. Roos, Midvale, Utah; Charence A., Merrill, LyDell, all of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren;, 49 great-grandchildren; sister Winnifred Moss, Mt. Pleasant.

Burial was in the Fairview City Cemetery.
