Mrs. Minnie Pobanz Hintz, wife of G.R. Hintz, of Edford township, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 1920. Mrs. Hintz had been ill but a month and previous to her fatal illness had always enjoyed good health. She has been a resident of Edford township since early childhood and her passing is mourned by many friends who deeply sympathize with the sorrowing family. Minnie Pobanz was the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Pobanz and was born in Grabnov, West Prussia, Germany, May 1, 1860. When two years old she accompanied her parents to this country and she has since lived in Edford township. Her marriage to Gustav R. Hintz took place Oct. 18, 1888, and to this union there were born three sons, William, Walter, and Elmer, who survive with the father. Mrs. Hintz was confirmed at the age of sixteen years by Rev. Regin, pastor at the time of St. Peter's church, and she has since been a faithful member of that church. Besides the husband and three sons, there survive also a granddaughter and five brothers. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. Blasburg, Sunday afternoon at St. Peter's Church.
