Services for Ms. Dagmar King, widow of the rev. Grover M. King, retired pastor of Hulburt Baptist church, will be at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the Harder funeral home, 4217 W. Fond du Lac av.
Mrs. King, 83, of 2807 N. 50th st., died of cancer Wednesday. Her late husband had been pastor of the church at 1101 S. 6th st., from 1924 to 1935. He was a found of Oak Creek. He died in 1962.
Born in Chicago, Mrs. King entered Salvation Army college there at the age of 19. She was a Salavation Army officer for six years. She and her late husband had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1960.
Mrs. King for many years was a volunteer USO worker. She also made more than 1,000 scrapbooks for children's hospitals and other institutions.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Florence King, Milwaukee, and a sister, Mrs. Thora Graber, Chicago.
