ADELA VERA
Adela Vera, 76, of Brownsville, died Monday at AMI Brownsville Medical Center.

She was a Brownsville native and resident and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

She is survived by six sisters, Virginia, Marina and Alicia Vera, Amanda Garcia, Melida Ochoa, all of Brownsville, and Oralia Aldrete of Austin; three brothers, Jesus M. and Sigifredo Vera, both of Brownsville, and Reynaldo Vera of Dallas.

Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home East Chapel, 945 Palm Blvd.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with Father Patricio Dominguez officiating. Interment will be at Buena Vista Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Our Mother of Perpetual Help Nursing Home, 519 E. Madison St., Brownsville, 78520.
