LADY PASSES AWAY AFTER A LONG ILLNESS

MRS. JAKE BIEBIGHAUSER SUCCUMED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT 6:50--WAS ONE OF OLDEST RESIDENTS

After a lingering illness, Mrs. Jake Biebighauser, an aged lady, who had resided in this city for thirty years, passed away yesterday afternoon at 6:50 o'clock.
She was born in New Orleans Feb. 29 1856, and was married to Robert Byrne, of that city, Sept. 14, 1875, two children being born to them. Her husband died Aug. 16, 1879, and she came to Pensacola in 1882, to make her home with her sister, Mrs. M.L. Roch.
In 1884, she was married to Jake Biebighauser, and four children were born to them, so that the deceased is survived by a husband and four children besides four brothers and two sisters.
Her children are: Mrs. Herman Howland, Miss Hazel Biebighauser, Mrs. B.J. Trobok and Jake Biebighauser, Jr. Her three brothers, who reside in New Orleans, are: Ollie, Henry and Alfred Dupre, while another brother, Alfred [they mean Albert] Dupre, lives in Houston, Texas. Her sisters are Mrs. Queyrouze, of Houston, and Mrs. M.L. Roch, of this city.
