Teresita, a native and lifelong resident of Chimayó, was predeceased by her husband Severo; adopted son Luisito Trujillo; parents Isidro Trujillo and María Francisca "Francisquita" Ortega; two brothers: Jake and Antonio Trujillo; and sister Fedelina Trujillo.
Teresita was survived by daughter Elena "Helen" Córdova of Santa Fe; brother Ross Trujillo of Centinella Ranch in Chimayó; sister Mercedes; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral services were on 16 Jul 1998 in Holy Family Church in Chimayó. Burial was in the Old Potrero Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tim Córdova, Louis Córdova, Tommy Córdova, Louie S. Córdova, Timmy Córdova, Arthur L. Jaramillo, Carlito Fierro-Córdova, and Joe Trujillo.
