"The funeral of Mrs. Alice Harriet Garlick Brown was held at the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Mrs. Brown was born, March 28, 1866, and passed away Thursday, March 17. She will be greatly missed by the community being a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and Ellsworth grange, being a charter member. Surviving is her aged mother, Mrs. Harriet Garlick, her husband James I. Brown and the following children; Dallas A. of Youngstown, Douglas J. of Canfield, Mrs. Louis Gosser, Harry and Miss Marian Brown of Ellsworth and 6 grandchildren."
