Bill was the only son of Thomas W. Humble, II and his wife, Esther Adela Eichstaedt. He took up the profession of his father, he became a dentist. He married Eleanor Marie Rapien, a daughter of Leslie J. Rapien and his wife, Verma Emma Regele. They celebrated their wedding on September 21, 1946 in Chicago (Cook County), Illinois. They had four daughters, Linda D. (1947-201?), Shirley (1950-1950), JoAnn Marie (1951-201?) and Kathy L. (1953-1999). Bill died in 1992, leaving his wife and three daughters to morn his passing.
