Soccer Player, Journalist. He was a goalkeeper who played for Universidad Católica and Colo-Colo from Chile, Racing Club of Argentina and the Chilean national team in the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (International Federation of Association Football) World Cup 1950 and the South American cups 1941, 1942, 1945, 1947, 1949 and 1953. He was the first major figure who had the Chilean football and is considered one of the greatest idols of Chilean sports history. From 1962 was devoted to sports journalism, working on several radio programs and in Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) where he led several programs.
