ACCIDENT — Mabel Marie Fike , 92, of Accident, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at her residence.

Born March 15, 1917, at Selbysport, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Barbara (Miller) Bowser. Mrs. Fike was preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Fike ; three sisters, Mildred Bowser, Agnes Handwerk and Edna Zehner.

Mrs. Fike was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Accident, and the Ladies Aid of the church.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Jean Edmiston and husband Jack, Friendsville; three grandchildren, Mark Edmiston, Linda Garcia and Robin Slagle; and two great-granddaughters, Emily and Kati Slagle.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Leh-mann officiating.

Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.

Contributions may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice of Garrett County.
