Alvord J. Arnold, age 90, a resident of Rio Rancho, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Al had a great sense of humor. All of the children loved hearing the stories of his life. Al is survived by daughter, Wanda C. McGuire and her husband, Patrick of Rio Rancho, NM, son, Ron E. Arnold and his wife, Debby of Montrose, CO, grandchildren, Clinton Arnold, Trisha Arnold, Pamela McGuire, Brian McGuire, Chris Arnold, and Justin Arnold, twelve great-grandchildren and brother, Royce Arnold. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Arnold, his son, Allen and grandson, Shannon McGuire. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, with Pastor Gerald "Gary" Wood officiating. Friends may visit French - Westside Chapel on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
