Joy is survived by her husband, David Morton; her children, Michelle (Greg) Scharenbroch and Chris Morton; her grandchildren, Matt and Haley; a brother, James Woodmansee; a brother-in-law, Jeff (Tracy) Cooke; sisters-in-law, Jane Woodmansee and Leanne (Bill) Young; her mother-in-law, Verlee Cooke; and several nieces and nephews.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a memorial service for Joy held at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Dale Bliss officiating. All of Joy's friends and family are welcome to join together for a time of visitation on Thursday, from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service, also at the mortuary.
