Mrs. Mary Frances Benner, wife of Martin L. Benner, who resided at 409 Sherman Avenue, died suddenly at her residence Saturday evening. She was born in Frederick on April 6, 1901, the daughter of the late John Frederick and Mary E. Woodward Oland. Mrs. Benner was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. For a number of years, Mrs. Benner was employed with the Union Manufacturing Company and in later years she and Mr. Benner were custodians of the Professional Building. Surviving her besides her husband is one son, Bernard C. Mossburg, Frederick, one sister, Mrs. Hazel Oland Englebrecht, Frederick and one brother, John Frederick Oland, Baltimore. Friends may call at the M. R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street today from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Donald W. Bracken, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
