Betty L. Ahrens, age 58, of 427 Christel Drive, Valders, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 30, 2008, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Betty was born July 2, 1950, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Marvin and Caroline
(Schmidt) Robison. She was a graduate of Valders High School class of 1968.
On June 28, 1975, she married Keith Ahrens in Valders. He preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1995. Betty was employed by Leverenz Shoe Factory for many years.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders.

She was also preceded in death by one brother: Marvin Robison Jr., a father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lawrence and Anna Ahrens, and one brother-in-law: Lewis Ahrens.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at the Christianson & Deja Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Valders. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Marcia Solberg. Burial will be at Our Savior Cemetery, Valders.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Christianson & Deja Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2009.
