William H. Albert, 84, of RD 4, Box 1, Clearfield, died Sunday, May 10, 1998, at his residence.
Born July 8, 1913, in Woodland, he was a son of the late Burke and Lucy (Knepp) Albert.
Mr. Albert was employed as a diesel mechanic for the Bill Edmunds Coal Co.
On May 7, 1949, in Curwensville, he wed the former Dorothy Fullington, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara Martinchek of Clearfield; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters, Grace Boyd and Lydia McKale, both of Harrisburg, and Anna Yeager of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clair Albert.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
