Addie Barbara Dimmitt, 78, of Danville, passed away at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
She was born April 17, 1934 in Warsaw, Ky. to Henry D. and Mary Belle Courtney Trinkle. She married William H. Dimmitt on Sept. 26, 1953. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary, Sandra and Dorothy; son, Chester L. Dimmitt and a daughter, Nancy A. Dimmitt.
Surviving are a son, William (Mae) Dimmitt, of Tilton and a special friend, Gene (late Myrtle) Hinkle.
