Funeral services for Mr. Perry Adams, 76, of Eufaula were held Sunday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Eufaula.

Dr. Ken Bush officiated and burial followed in Memory Garden Cemetery with Kent Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. Mr. Adams passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, at his home in Eufaula after an extended illness.

Born May 10, 1936, in Pearson, Ga., Mr. Adams was the son of the late Carroll Adams and Johnnie Wilson Adams. He resided in Eufaula since 1966 and retired from MeadWestvaco where he was a supervisor for many years. Mr. Adams was an avid fisherman and a member of Bassmasters for many years. He enjoyed puzzles, spending time with his friends and having cook-outs.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Adams of Eufaula; sons, Jason (Crystal) Adams currently stationed in Africa, Charles Adams of Smiths Station, James (Heather) Trimm of Birmingham, David (Mary Ann) Adams of Birmingham; step-sons, Ricky Trimm of Dublin, Ga.; daughter, Patricia Bender of Montgomery; step-daughters, Donna Blankenship of Bluefield, W.Va., Terri Wright of Montgomery, and Tami Nolin and Tracy Wiggins both of Eufaula; brother, J.C. (Gay) Adams of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; sister, Betty Jean Stephens of Norman Park, Ga.; grandchildren, Andy Adams, Anna Pugh Greene, Emily Beaty, and Lizzie Adams; and numerous step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Jim Trimm, Dr. Jeff Bush, Andy Adams, John Bush, Dr. Kevin Royal and Dr. Scott McAllister. Honorary pallbearers were Murph Howerton, John Boley and Bennie Speights.
