Kelly Neil Clay, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Gem Lake south of Idaho Falls in a jet skiing accident.
Kelly was born November 13, 1952, in Rigby, Idaho, to Cyrus Budge Clay and Nina Ruth Cook Clay. He grew up and attended schools in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School. Kelly was a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls.
He married Peggy Smith in Rexburg and they were later divorced. He married Georgean Iwerks in 1996 and they were later divorced. Kelly owned and operated Clay Excavation.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kelly enjoyed water sports and snowmobiling, especially time on his Harleys. He always had to have the fastest toys.

Brother, Kevin (Suzette) Clay of Rexburg, ID;
2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Clay.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS Willow Creek Ward, 6925 North 15th East, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Archer-Sutton Cemetery. There will be a tribute motorcycle ride from the services to the cemetery.
