Mrs. Lulabelle Harshbarger-Arnold of Rio, for six years an instructor in the Galesburg High School, died Saturday night at the Galesburg hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. She had been ailing for some time but her condition was not considered critical until two weeks ago. Lulabelle Harshbarger-Arnold was the daughter of Mrs. Laura Harshbarger, Knoxville Road, and was born in Cuba, Ill. She was educated in the public schools of that place and was graduated from the Galesburg High School and the State Teachers' college at Milwaukee. She taught in the Springfield, Ill. and the Milwaukee public schools and the Galesburg High School for six years where she was beloved by the faculty members and students' In 1925 she married Glen W. Arnold of Rio and since that time had resided in Rio. Surviving are the husband; the mother, Mrs. Laura Harshbarger; a sister, Mrs. Wilson Henderson, Galesburg, and three brothers, Prof. Royal Harshbarger of the Lombard college faculty, Wayne Harshbarger and Frank Harshbarger, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Horton, Hinchliff and Wilson parlors and burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
