Anna was born at home at Springwater, New York, the second child of George and Carrie (Wheaton) Fisher.
She married Albert Braun on Oct. 10, 1931 at the home of Anna's parents at Springwater, NY. They settled and spent the remainder of their lives at Naples, NY. They had four children together. Donald, Gary, Sally and Darryl.
Anna graduated from Springwater High School and Geneseo Normal School (now Geneseo State College) and became a teacher. In 1923 she was hired to teach at Wayland High School at Wayland, NY and also taught at other area schools during her career.
She remained keen of mind until passing at age 96.
