1994 Jun 5 - Cadillac - Harley Lee Ashley was born Sunday 10 Jul 1892 in Antioch Township to Elkanah Euzell & Ida Lillian (Gill) Ashley. He married Justine (Beugnot) Palmitier Saturday 30 Jun 1917. They made their home in Antioch Township before moving to Cadillac in 1928. He had been employed at Chris-Craft in Cadillac.
Harley Lee Ashley of 607 Linden St died Monday 5 Jun 1944 at the age of 51 y 10 m 26 d at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac following an operation. Survivors included 2 sons; 2 daughters; 2 step-sons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna 14 Jun 1959; his parents, Elkanah 23 Feb 1933 & Ida 2 Jul 1926; and 2 brothers, Baby Boy Ashley, and Guy Euzell Ashley 4 Jun 1951.
Funeral services were 2 pm Wednesday7 June 1944 at Flynn Funeral Home in Cadillac.
Burial was in Block 10, Lot 24 in Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
