Goldie Lee Chapman Castle, age 77, of 6200 Castle Rock Rd., Boonsboro, MD, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 11, 1930 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Preston and Mary Magdaline Davis Chapman.
She was a homemaker.
She had been a member of Tri-State Church of God in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald James Castle, whom she married Oct. 26, 1947; one daughter, Teresa Reiff of Boonsboro; three sons, Roger Castle of Maugansville, and Terry Castle and Tim Castle, both of Boonsboro; five brothers, Floyd Chapman, Bobby Chapman, Lewis Chapman and Ronnie Chapman, all of West Virginia, and Billy Chapman of Manassas, VA; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald S. Castle, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Delancy Catlett will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
