Lisa Lynn Christian Alley, 51 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord after an extended illness on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Sullivan County, TN and lived most of her life in Hawkins County, TN. She was a graduate of Church Hill High School and attended East Tennessee State University. She previously was a member of First Baptist Church of Church Hill and was a member of Mafair United Methodist Church, Kingsport.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Porter Wayne Christian; mother-in-Law, Billie Alley; and grandparents, Noah & Eva Bullis and Ira & Kathleen Christian.
Survivors include her loving husband, David G. Alley of the home; two daughters, Jennifer M. Alley and Samantha G. Alley; son, Wallace Christian Alley, all of Kingsport; mother, Jean Reed & husband Ruble of Church Hill; brother, Danny Wayne Christian & wife Melanie of Johnson City; step sister, Rebecca Reed of Atlanta, GA; father-in-law, Wallace D. Alley & wife Virginia of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Doug Alley & wife Sharon of Kingsport and Martin Alley of Piney Flats, TN; a niece, Emily Christian and a nephew, Matthew Christian.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 3 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Mafair United Methodist Church, 1409 East Center Street, Kingsport. Funeral services will be in the church at 3 pm with Rev. Kim Goddard and Rev. Ralph Kidd, officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport. Pallbearers are Doug Alley, Martin Alley, Darin Christian, Randy Christian, Chris Christian and Tim Christian.
