Duane Felton, 79 of Chester passed away on Saturday July 21, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
A life time area resident Duane was born on October 9, 1932 in Georgetown, PA; to the late Edward and Emma R. Thompson Felton.
A member of the Chester First Church of the Nazarene, he retired as a ware inspector from the former TS&T Pottery in Chester.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Agnes Russell Felton, one son, Richard Felton and two sisters.
Surviving are one son, Frank Russell of Chester, one brother, James E. Felton of Florence, PA; two sisters, Linda Stockman of Lisbon and Daisy Wright of Cleveland. In addition, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Pastor Steve Cummings of the Church will conduct services on Tuesday at 11:00 am the Chester First Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.
