In 1900, on March 13 in North Dakota, Sadie May Satterlee was born to Annie (nee Portis) and
Sylvester Satterlee.

In 1918, at Stocks, Alberta, Canada, she married Altie Galbreath.

1921 She bore Doris May (Stocks, AB, Can.) m. Reuben Morgan
1922 She bore Lute Ira Galbreath

I only met my mom's sister Sadie a few times, on their farm near Athabasca, AB. The sisters looked very much alike. On one visit we spent ½ a day picking tiny wild strawberries. It was a great shock when family and friends were killed by a drunk driver. Sadie and Altie died in that auto accident, coming home from the Edmonton Fair.

The Athabasca Echo (newspaper) June 24 1949
"Three now dead as result of Highway Crash.
53 yr old Altie Galbraith...of Colinton died yesterday.
Killed instantly as two cars met head on about 20 miles north of Edmonton (was) Mrs Sadie Galbraith. They were passengers in the north bound car driven by (their son) Lute Galbraith.
Also injured with facial cuts was (Sadie's brother) LY Satterlee."
