Mr. W. L. Greer, 76, died in Shreveport, La., on April 14, 1989.
Services were held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, La., on April 16, 1989, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial was at Mansfield Cemetery.
Mr. Greer was a retired road contractor, born native of Many,La., on November 30, 1912, and lived most of his life th ere. He was a former resident of Mansfield for 15 years, and a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include two daughters, Laverna Vickers and husband Travis of Zwolle, and Mrs. Ruby Catherine Gregrich of Zwolle; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Tucker of Stonewall; two brothers, Gilbert Greer of Stonewall, and Hoyt Greer of Idaho Springs, Colorado; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
