Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17 at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
A memorial service will be held at Bogata Church of God, Saturday, August 19 at 10 a.m.
There will also be a memorial service in Talco,TX at Nini's Cafe Sunday, August 20 at 2 p.m.
Jim was born in Madisonville, KY on February 15, 1943 to Hazel Lee and Mary Smith. He was a longtime resident of Johntown, TX. He was a truckdriver and drove across country for Carlton Manufacturing in Mt.Vernon, TX.
He was preceeded in death by his parents.
Surviving are two sons, David and Donnie Cole and daughter-in-law Susan Cole of Weatherford, TX; four sisters: Carolyn Alsbrook of Providen, KY, Loretta Brook of Starta, IL, Betty Higgins of Madisonville, KY, Sharon McCoy of Paducah, KY and one brother, Bennie Pendergraph of Madisonville, KY.
Jim will be deeply missed by all the friends who have been his family in Texas for all these years.
