McKinley Dale Flowers, 45 (b. 12 Aug 1953), of Route 1, Nahunta, died Tuesday morning (20 Oct 1998) at his sister's residence following a lengthy illness.
A native of Volusia County, FL, he was a son of the late McKinley "Bub" Flowers and Edna Johns Flowers. He was a member of Winokur Baptist Church and until his illness was employed by the Nahunta Housing Authority. He was a member of the Nahunta and Hoboken Masonic Lodge #391 F & A M.
Survivors are two sisters, Mary Tarner and Bonnie Flowers, both of Nahunta; a brother, Billy Flowers of Wray; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held on Oct. 23 from the Chambless Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating.
Interment was in Bachlott Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Members of the Nahunta Masonic Lodge #391 F & A M served as active and honorary pallbearers.
Chambless Funeral Home of Nahunta was in charge of arrangements.
