She was the daughter of the late David Laird and Amy Carol Dickson Whiting.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Wilbur Leise. The couple married on March 3, 1967.
Mrs. Leise was a secretary at Horizon Hospital in Farrell, Ohio; operated restaurants at the livestock auctions in New Wilmington and Mercer, and taught school for two years.
She was a graduate of New Castle High School, and what is now Slippery Rock University. Mrs. Leise was a member of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include four daughters, Virginia Crocker of Slippery Rock, Mary Jane Dalley of Newton Falls, Ohio, Rebecca Richards of Ellwood City, and Ruth Mayne of Hermitage; two sons, Donald McKnight of Gettysburg and Russell McKnight of Slippery Rock; two brothers, Don Whiting and Robert Whiting, both of Edinburg; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Whiting, and a grandson.
