Services for Heber A.SnyderSr.,72,of 911 Liggett Ave.,will be Wednesday at 13:30 a.m. The Rev.Marvin L.Harding will officiate in the J.E.Lutz Jr.Funeral Home,Mount Penn. Burial will be made in Spies Zion Cemetery,Alsace Township. Snyder died Sunday morning in the St.Joseph Hospital,where he was a patient since Saturday night. Born in Reading,he was a son of the late Luke D. and Annie (Esterline)Snyder. He was employed as a frame presser by the Dana Corp.,Parish Division,for 17 years prior to retiring in 1960. Snyder was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church,Stony Creek Mills;Stony Creek Athletic Association; and the Truckers Association. Surviving are his wife,Bertha E.(Kercher)Snyder;Six Sons:Heber A.Jr.,Luke A., Paul E.,John A.,and Allen R.,all of Reading,Carl E., Denver R.D.3. Six Daughters:Virginia,wife of Charles Frederick;Eva,wife of Clyde Nonnemaker;and Julie Snyder,all of Reading. Bertha DeVeau,St.Paul,Minn.;Anna,wife of Richard Miller,Shoemakersville;and Shirley,wife of Ralph Felix,Mohrsville;46 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren;and a sister,Eva,wife of John Fick,Shartlesville.
