Adeline Beyer, 88, died Friday, May 11, 2012 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. John Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend John Bumgardner Officiating. Burial will be held at Immanuel Cemetery at Wylie, MN.

Visitation will be held on Monday 5 – 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at St. John Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Adeline Elsie Weiss was born February 25, 1924 at home in Browns Creek Township, Red Lake County near Red Lake Falls daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Hilse) Weiss. She attended Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls graduating in 1941. She then attended 2 years of teachers training. Addie taught in the Black River rural school for a time.

On February 12, 1944 she was united in marriage to Irving Beyer at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Wylie. The couple made their home near Dorothy, MN where the farmed and had Dairy Cattle until their retirement in 1987. She continued to live on the farm until the time of her death. Addie and Irv were active in the Foster Care Program and participated in Student Trainee programs for foreign students. She was a member of the Busy Janes Homemakers club, was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church until it's closing and St. John's Lutheran Church since. Addie was an enthusiastic Twins fan, a past time she enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren and sisters. She sewed a blanket for every great-grandchild and, in the younger years, enjoyed lawn work and gardening. Addie was the heart and center of her family.

She is survived by her children Cheryl Beyer of Hawley, MN, Steven (Phyllis) Beyer of Elkhorn, NE, Nancy (Dennis) Haglund of Red Lake Falls, MN, Patricia Huot-Kentch of Salt Lake City, UT and Julia Beyer Buse of Red Lake Falls, MN; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren: sisters Evelyn Wagner of Crookston, MN and Marie Casavan of Red Lake Falls, MN: sisters-in-law Jean Weinberg of Red Lake Falls, MN and Jeanne Beyer of Dorothy: brother-in-law Arlie Hams of Red Lake Falls, MN along with many nieces and nephews.

Addie is preceded in death by her husband Irving, two sisters; Lila Hams and Mildred Lizotte, and an infant brother.
