Ralph Brick, age 48, the son of Mrs. Othmar (Ella) Brick, died instantly near Paynesville when the vehicle he was driving left Stearns County Road 32 and struck a tree. Ralph Brick farmed near Paynesville and was serving as Commander of Army Reserve Unit, 1st Batallion, 409th Infantry, headquartered in St Cloud. He served in the Army Reserve for almost 30 years. He joined the Army on January 9, 1946 and served with the 20th Infantry Regiment, 6th Infantry division which served with occupational forces in Korea. Mr. Brick had also served as a former clerk of Lake Henry Township and was active in many community groups including Lake Henry Foresters, Paynesville Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Reserve Officers Association, and University of Minnesota Alumni Association.

Lt Col Brick is survived by his mother, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral arrangements by Anderson Mortuary, Paynesville MN. Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Church, Thursday, October 23, 1975, 11 a.m., Lake Henry, MN; Interment in Parish Cemetery.
