Luz Ayala, age 84, passed away on June 3, 2012 at home with her family at her side.
Mrs. Ayala is survived by her children, Maria Baca and her husband, Samuel Sr, Robert Ayala and his wife, Delora, José Ayala and his wife, Rita, Rosa Ayala, Carlos Ayala and his wife, Carol, Vickie Chávez and her husband, Martin Sr., thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Ayala was preceded in death by her parents, Agapito and Maria Muñiz, brother, Jacinto Muñiz and sister, Concepcion Anchondo.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldón Memorial Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mary Vallejos. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012 with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco SW. Interment will follow at San José de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sammy Baca Jr., Franky Baca, Javier Ayala, Manny Ayala, Martin Chávez Jr. and Vicente Ayala Honorary pallbearers will be Luis Anchondo, Jason Jacobson Sr. and Jason Jacobson Jr.
