Betty J. Knowlton, 76, of Neffs, Ohio, died Monday October 20, 2008 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling Wv.

Betty was born June 3, 1932 in Glencoe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Lomis and Ethel Clayton Dunfee.

She was retired from Heartland Lansing Nursing Home Bridgeport, Ohio, a member of the Neffs Fire Department Auxiliary and a Catholic by Faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Knowlton in 1991 and a brother Ralph Dunfee.

Surviving are a son, Michael (Beverly) Knowlton of Neffs, Ohio, two daughters, Deborah Hall of Lima, Ohio and Paula (Gary) Brutchey of Gahanna, Ohio, two brothers, Paul (Pauline) Dunfee Bellaire, Ohio and William (Sally) Dunfee of Shadyside, Ohio. Five grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Thursday with Monsignor Gene W. Mullett officiating.

Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made Neffs Fire Department.
