Quinton Starling Dies at Joiner Yesterday
Quinton Starling, well known farm owner of Joiner, died yesterday afternoon at his home there. He was 72. Born in Shelby County, Tenn., near Memphis, he had lived at Joiner 44 years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock, at Louise Chapel near Joiner, with burial at the cemetery there. The Rev. J.W. Moore, pastor of the Joiner Methodist Church, and the Rev. F.M. Sweet of Manila will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Perkins Starling; two sons, William T., and Joseph Q. Starling, and a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Bennett, all of Joiner, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Billings of Sarah, Miss. Swift Funeral Home of Osceola is in charge.
