Addie Belle Alford, 95, resident of Baton Rouge and native of Denham Springs, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 27, at 9 a.m. until funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Michael Alford; a sister-in-law, Alma Johnson; three nephews, Roger Harris, Charles Harris and P.J. Vidacovich; a niece, Gwen Roberts; and many other great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Johnson Sr.; mother, Mary Rodgers Johnson; husband, E.L. Alford; son, Lane Alford; a brother, Charles Johnson Jr.; and a sister, Mary Alice Chambers....
