James Michael "Mike" Anderson Jr., 36, of 1032 Heather Drive, died Monday, April 7, 2003, in his home.

Born May 5, 1966, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of James and Alberta Butz Snowdon of Chambersburg and the late James Michael Anderson Sr.

A 1984 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, he received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Washington state and was pursuing a masters degree.

Previously, he had been employed at the Old Philadelphia Mint and Keystone Mint, both of Philadelphia.

An avid sports fan, he enjoyed working and playing games on his computer.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, surviving are a brother, Daniel Snowdon of Connecticut; two aunts; an uncle; and cousins.

Service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 159 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg 17201.

Cumberland Valley Crematorium, Waynesboro, is in charge of the arrangements.
