Dennis L. Greenfield
1948-2012
DETROIT —
Dennis L. Greenfield, age 63, of Detroit, formerly of Adrian, passed away May 13, 2012, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
He is survived by his son, Mark Burns of Texas; a daughter, Brenda Greenfield of Adrian; sisters, Carol (Jack) Roeder and Darlene (Clip) Connin; and a brother, Scott (Sue) Lovell. He will also be missed by his grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Bob Lovell, in 1968; and his mother, Myrtle Lovell, in 1996. His brother, Howard Greenfield, passed away in June 2011.
Dennis served in the U.S. Navy on the USS America in Vietnam waters and was awarded a Naval Commendation Medal. He worked as a sergeant for Huffmaster Security Co. and worked several months in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Mich.
