Funeral services for Mrs. Grace G. Aitken of Tilden will be 2 P.M. Friday in the United Presbyterian Church in Tilden. Mrs. Aitken, 72, died at 9:45 P.M. Tuesday in the Community Hospital, Sparta.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Tilden; the Woman's Missionary Society, the Women's Christian Temperance Union, the Federated Woman's Club, the Prosperity Grange and the Neighborhood Club.
Born April 2, 1897, in Coulterville, she was the daughter of Robert and Anna Graham Gray. She was married Nov. 22, 1923, in Pinckneyville to Emerson Aitken, Mr. Aitken died Aug. 31, 1960.
Mrs. Aitken leaves sons; Wendell of Tilden, Wayne of Leesburg, Fla., and James of Rt. 2, Sparta; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, James Gray of Marianna, Arkansas
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday in United Presbyterian Church, Tilden. Burial will be in Marissa Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Finger Funeral Home, Marissa, after 8 P.M. today until 11 A.M. Friday, and then at the Church.
Donations go to a memorial fund for the Church.

Preceding her in death was a son, Dean Gray Aitken who died while serving in World War 2 in France.
