John P. Cruse, aged sixty-five years, died yesterday at the home of his son, James S. Cruse, on Fletcher Avenue in Indianapolis. He was formerly a resident of this city, but moved to Indianapolis about thirty years ago. He leaves a wife and one son and daughter. The remains will be brought to this city tomorrow arriving here at noon and will be taken to the residence of Will A. Dudley, nephew of deceased, No. 180 Vincennes street. The interment will be at the Northern cemetery. Deceased was formerly a member of Odd Fellow Lodge, No. 10, of this city and was a member of Philaxenia Lodge No. 44, of Indianapolis. - New Albany Evening Tribune 19 Jan 1893
