Survivors; wife, Margaret Matthews Burrell of the home; daughter, Precious Borden of Jacksonville, NC; sons, Rickie Burrell of Montclair, NJ and Ronald Burrell Jr. of Germany; step-son, Eddie Smith Jr. of Washington, DC; a "special son," the Rev. Jimmy Rogers of Garner; father and step-mother, Richard D. Burrell (Erma) of Teaneck, NJ; sisters, Loreece B. Basnight (Gurney) of Columbia, MD, Barabara B.
