William H. Norman, 1305 North Thirty-third street, died In St. Mary's hospital at 5 o'clock Saturday morning, after an Illness of about five weeks. His death was caused by heart trouble.
He was born in Hillsboro June 25, 1850, but for the last 25 years he had lived in Decatur. He married Delitha E. Edwards on May 6, 1871 in Montgomery Co., IL. He leaves his fourth wife Hattie Green Norman and two children from marriage to his second wife Susan Jane Hedrick Root They had the following children:...William H. Norman Jr, Prince Albert R. Norman, Emma Dora Norman, Unnamed chld, Frank Norman and George Carl Norman. He lives 19 grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Jackson Houston (Mary Elizabeth) of Blue Mound, and Mrs. Dora Sarver (Isaac Sarver) of St. Elmo and a brother, Thomas Alexander Norman of Beecher City, IL
William H. Norman was also married to Eliza Jane Brothers Norman...widow of his brother Robert M. Norman. (Jan 2, 1907) (3rd wife)
The body was taken to the Moran and Sons funeral home where friends may call. Funeral service probably will be conducted Monday in the Moran chapel.
