 August, 1966. I was just shy of 13 yrs of age when my neighbor had to rush home to watch "Dark Shadows"---what's that, I inquired? She told me all about the show.I spent much time every afternoon rushing home from school for the 4pm EST airing of "Dark Shadows".Many, many years later in the early 1990s, I was under the weather and missed work. Lo, and behold on the "Sci-Fi" I discovered they were airing "DS" repeatedly. This meant I could watch many episodes for the first time in over 20 odd years! As of today, I own the entire series on DVD...and love it. I always watch any Reunion DVDs...because of the great talents of Jonathan Frid & Grayson Hall--an unbeatable combination. I thank God you answered your phone when ABC happened to call that one day upon your arrival home.....no one could have playsd "Barnabas" as you did.
