Born in Bedford, he was the son of Clifford Charles and Bernice May (Troy) Rodenberger. He married Minnie Courtney, and she survives.
He retired in 1982 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after more than 39 years service.
Surviving in addition to his wife of Anderson are one son, Michael Rodenberger of Anderson; one ste-son, Bob Bloom of Anderson; one stepdaughter, Sandra Froedge of Anderson; three brothers: James E. Rodenberger of Bedford, Charles C. Bobbit of Crothersville and William L. Bobbit of Seymour; three sisters: Lois Douglas and Kathleen Anderson, both of Bedford, and Annace Reynolds of Medora; one stegrandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
