COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY - 04/15/2012 - ASH, ANNA MARIE, 40, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East with family and friends by her bed side. She was an operating room nurse for Baptist Hospital East. She was a proud member of the Da Vinci Surgical Team and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mimi, Alberta Herrington. She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Bill Ash; her beloved children, Katie-Lee Marie Ash, Evan William Ash and William Wallace Ash; granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie; parents, Sandra and Larry Wesley and Raymond Allen; sister, Heather Allen; brothers, Sean Wesley and Chase Allen; and mother-in-law, Demaris "Marcie" Atkinson. Her celebration of life Mass will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More, 6105 So. 3rd St. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday 1-8 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Baptist Hospital Foundation, 4000 Kresge Way Lou, KY 40207.
